Food is important to us. We believe everyone should have the ability to purchase superior quality meat a price that they can afford, that is raised right in their community. We started with raising our own pigs right in Westfield and supplying as many of our friends, family, and neighbors as possible until the demand grew large enough that we needed a storefront.
After being a part of the Sheridan community for 6 years, we realized that it had become a fresh food desert. After the IGA closed, the only place to purchase food in this quaint town was the Dollar General. It was clear to us that Sheridan was the place that we needed but also that needed us. Everyone deserves access to fresh food, even more important fresh local food.
